Y/N's POV:
I was in my room, enjoying the blissful calm. The weight of exams was finally off my shoulders, and graduation was just a month away. It felt surreal how quickly time was flying. I was scrolling through my phone when the door suddenly creaked open. My mind immediately went to "How the hell did he get in when the whole house was locked?" I looked up, and my eyes immediately lit up in pure happiness. It was Hyunjin.
"Hyunjin!" I practically shrieked, jumping off the bed and engulfing him in a tight hug.
"Hey, sweetie!" he chuckled, returning my embrace.
"When did you come?" I asked, pulling back slightly.
"Just now," he replied, as we both settled onto the bed.
Hyunjin grinned, "So, now you're completely free. No more exams, no more teachers scolding you for not studying. Life's going smoothly, huh? When's my treat?" He wiggled his eyebrows playfully.
I chuckled. "What about tomorrow? Eight PM, near the Han River. Let's have a drink."
"WHAT? No way!" he exclaimed, making me frown.
"Waeyo?" I asked, confused.
"You're still seventeen!" he retorted.
"I'll turn eighteen tomorrow, so no problem!" I shot back, a defiant smile playing on my lips.
He considered it for a moment, then sighed in defeat. "Fine! I'll see you tomorrow. Yeji noona is calling me; seems like she wants me to come over."
"I want to meet her too!" I pouted, realizing how long it had been since I last saw her.
"Stay home and be safe," he said, getting up. "I'll get going now. Bye-bye~" With a final wave, he was out the door. I just sighed, a bit disappointed but still buzzing from his visit.
Hyunjin's POV:
As I stepped out of Y/N's house, I noticed a car parked outside. Whose could it be? Then it hit me—it was Yeonjun hyung's. I grinned and waved.
"Hey, Hyung!" I called out.
"Oh, hey Hyunjin! What are you doing here?" Yeonjun hyung asked, a bit surprised.
"Just came to meet Y/N," I replied.
"Oh, okay," he said, nodding.
"What about you, Hyung?" I asked.
Yeonjun hyung’s expression turned serious. "I've come here to tell her something important. You need to know too. Yeji called you home, right?"
"Yeah," I confirmed, a flicker of curiosity igniting within me.
"She's waiting. Go meet her," he urged.
"Okay," I said, and with that, I left, while Yeonjun hyung headed inside.
Y/N's POV:
After a few minutes of utter boredom, I decided to head downstairs. As I entered the living room, I froze, completely stunned by the sight before me. Was I hallucinating?
"Yeonjun Oppa?" I whispered, utterly shocked. He usually only visits once every two weeks, if that.
"Yes, it's me," he confirmed, a small smile on his face.
I immediately ran towards him, throwing my arms around him in a tight hug. "I missed you, Oppa!"
"Me too, sweetheart," he murmured, returning my embrace.
We broke the hug, and I looked around the room. "Where's Yeji eonnie?"
"She's at home," he replied, his gaze a little hesitant. "I came here to tell you something important regarding her."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Important? I nodded slowly. "First, take a seat, Oppa."
We both settled onto the couch, and I noticed he seemed somewhat nervous, fidgeting slightly.
He took a deep breath before speaking. "Yeji… she is… pregnant."
"Oh—" The word hung in the air for a moment before realization slammed into me. "WAIT, WHAT?! She's pregnant? You mean, P. R. E. G. N. A. N. T?" I spelled out the word, my eyes wide with disbelief and dawning excitement.
Yeonjun's POV:
I chuckled at how adorably she spelled out the word, her shock turning into pure delight. I ruffled her hair. "Yes. Pregnant. Yeji is pregnant."
She practically jumped off the couch in happiness, her face beaming. My cute little sister. "I'm so happy! I'm gonna be an aunt! But I'm still so young, you know? I feel too young to be an aunt!"
I chuckled again, patting her head. "Don't worry. You'll be a great aunt."
We spent the rest of the day talking, laughing, and cracking jokes, the news of the impending arrival filling the house with a joyous energy.
